Realme 16 Pro Launch Today: 200MP Camera, 7000mAh Battery, Prices Start at ₹31,999

Realme is ready to make some noise in India today. Just before the official launch, fresh leaks about its new phones have caught everyone’s attention. Prices, features, and upgrades are already being talked about everywhere.

With a huge battery, a powerful camera, and a new Pro+ model, the Realme 16 Pro series looks like a serious step forward. The launch event will be live today at 12 PM, and many people are waiting to see what Realme finally reveals.

Leaked Prices of Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+

According to online leaks, the Realme 16 Pro 5G may start at ₹31,999. This base model is expected to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version could be priced at ₹33,999, while the top model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage may cost around ₹36,999.

The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to be the most premium phone in the series. Its starting price could be ₹39,999, and the highest variant may go up to ₹44,999. If this turns out to be true, it will be the most expensive Realme Pro phone so far.

How Different Is It from Older Realme Pro Phones?

Looking at older launches helps understand this pricing better. The Realme 15 Pro 5G also launched at ₹31,999, but there was no Pro+ version at that time. Before that, the Realme 14 Pro+ started at a lower price of ₹29,999.

With the Realme 16 Pro+, the company has brought back the Pro+ branding. This clearly shows that higher storage options and costlier parts are pushing prices closer to ₹45,000. Realme now seems more confident about competing in the upper mid-range segment.

Big Focus on Camera, Battery, and Performance

Realme has already confirmed some major features. Both phones will come with a large 7000mAh battery, which should easily handle long daily use. A 200MP main rear camera is also confirmed for both models, making photography one of the biggest highlights.

The Realme 16 Pro+ will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the Realme 16 Pro will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset. This gives users two strong performance options depending on their needs.

The Pro+ model will also include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. This feature is meant for better zoom shots and gives the Pro+ an edge for serious camera users.

Display, Software, and Market Competition

The Realme 16 Pro series will feature AMOLED displays with peak brightness reaching up to 6500 nits. This means clearer viewing even in bright sunlight. On the software side, both phones will run Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.

Realme has promised three years of Android OS updates, which adds long-term value. In terms of competition, this series will directly challenge phones like the OnePlus Nord 5, iQOO Neo 10, and OPPO F31 Pro+.

Now, all eyes are on today’s launch event, where the final prices and offers will be officially announced.
