Infinix has just added a new name to the mid-range race with the Infinix Note Edge. The phone was teased for about a week, and now it has finally launched officially.
What makes it stand out right away is the look. The camera design and back finish instantly remind you of premium phones, while the curved screen adds a more flagship-style feel.
Premium Design with Familiar Inspiration
The Infinix Note Edge has a rear design that looks closely inspired by recent iPhone Pro models. The raised camera island and lens placement give it a clean, premium vibe.
Infinix had earlier teased an orange colour variant, but this shade was not seen at launch. Still, the phone clearly aims for a “costly phone” feel at first glance. The ‘Edge’ branding and curved display also bring Samsung flagship vibes, which makes the overall design feel even more high-end.
XOS 16 Brings iOS-Style Visuals on Android 16
Infinix has taken a bold step on the software side. Note Edge runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, and it is the company’s first phone to come with Android 16 out of the box.
The interface also carries a clear touch of iOS 26’s “Liquid Glass” style. You get frosted layers, translucent panels, and soft lighting effects. This is likely to appeal to users who want an iPhone-like feel, but still want the flexibility of Android.
Display and Audio Take Centre Stage
The phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers a 2800Hz touch sampling rate and supports 4500 nits peak brightness.
For safety, Infinix has used Gorilla Glass 7i. On the audio side, you get JBL-tuned dual stereo speakers, which should make videos and music more enjoyable.
Cameras for Daylight and Social Media
Infinix Note Edge comes with a dual rear camera setup. The main camera is a 50MP sensor, built to capture sharp and detailed photos, especially in daylight.
The camera app also includes AI mode, HDR, and night photography features. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 13MP front camera, aimed at delivering good-quality photos and videos for social media.
Big Battery with Fast Charging Support
The phone is launched with a 6,500mAh battery. Infinix claims it can maintain up to 80% battery health even after 2,000 charge cycles, which could translate to nearly 6 years of strong performance.
It also supports 45W fast charging, and the company says the phone can be fully charged in 62 minutes.
Performance, Connectivity, and AI Extras
Infinix Note Edge is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. It is designed for daily tasks, multitasking, and mid-level gaming. The phone is paired with up to 8GB RAM.
It comes with 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C. You also get an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. A customisable side button can launch the Folax AI Assistant, and the phone carries an IP65 rating.
Colours and Price
Infinix Note Edge is available in Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black colours. The starting price is USD 200 (around Rs 18,200). Infinix has said that local pricing for different countries will be announced later.
