Lava has introduced the Blaze Duo 3 5G in India — a budget-friendly phone aimed at users who want something different. Its standout feature is the dual-display design, and Amazon is already listing it with discounts that bring the effective price below ₹15,500.
Price and offers
The Blaze Duo 3 5G is available in a single 6GB + 128GB configuration priced at ₹16,999. It comes in Moonlight Black and Imperial Gold. Amazon is offering up to ₹1,500 off via bank offers, which cuts the effective price to ₹15,499, and the phone is also eligible for a substantial exchange bonus.
Dual displays
The main screen is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. On the back there’s a secondary 1.6-inch AMOLED display meant for quick tasks like checking notifications and controlling music. That rear display can also act as a viewfinder when you use the rear camera to take selfies.
Performance and software
Under the hood the phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, which the company says can reach a peak clock speed of 2.6 GHz. It ships with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Blaze Duo 3 comes with Android 15 (launched by Google in September 2024), and Lava says it will receive an upgrade to Android 16 plus two years of security updates.
Cameras
On the rear is a single 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 sensor. For selfies and video calls there’s an 8-megapixel front camera placed in a hole-punch cutout on the main display.
Battery and other features
The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging and charges via a USB Type-C port. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. The device is 7.55 mm thick.
