Realme P4 Power 5G Launched With a Massive 10,001mAh Battery — India’s New Battery Beast

Realme today launched the Realme P4 Power 5G in India, positioning it as a battery-centric 5G smartphone. The headline feature is a 10,001mAh silicon carbon “Titan battery” that the company says can deliver roughly 39 days of standby on a single charge. Realme is also promoting long video and music playback times alongside fast charging and reverse charging support.

Price and availability

The Realme P4 Power 5G starts at ₹25,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB option is priced at ₹27,999, while the top 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹30,999. Realme is offering up to ₹2,000 in bank discounts. The device’s first sale begins on 5 February via Flipkart, Realme’s website, and retail outlets.

Design and durability

The phone uses Realme’s TransView design and ships in three finishes: TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue. It carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. The device measures about 9.08mm in thickness and weighs roughly 219 grams.

Display Quality and Brightness

The P4 Power 5G features a 6.8-inch 1.5K 4D Curve+ HyperGlow display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, plus HDR10+ content playback. Security is handled via an in-display fingerprint sensor. Realme says the display is tuned for everyday viewing to reduce eye strain during video and social media use.

Processor and performance

Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process. Realme claims the chipset delivers 25% better energy efficiency. The phone also includes a HyperVision+ AI chip that the company says improves resolution by up to 300% and smoothness by up to 400% for certain tasks. Thermal management uses a 4,613 mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

Memory, storage and software

Memory options are 8GB and 12GB RAM with storage in 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 configurations. The device supports RAM expansion (virtual memory) to boost available RAM. It has dual-SIM support and runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Realme promises three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Camera setup

The Realme P4 Power 5G has a dual rear camera setup: a 50MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Selfies are handled by a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone supports 4K video recording at 30fps.

Battery and charging

The defining spec is the 10,001mAh silicon carbon Titan battery. Charging options include 80W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging. Realme states the battery can deliver up to 32.5 hours of video playback, 932.6 hours of standby, 185.7 hours of Spotify music playback, and around 11.7 hours of gaming on a single charge.

Connectivity and in-box contents

Connectivity includes 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and a USB Type-C port. Audio features Hi-Res Audio support and a single speaker arrangement. The box contains the phone, charger, USB Type-C cable, SIM ejector tool, a protective case and the usual documentation.

Pros, trade-offs and alternatives

The biggest selling point is the massive 10,001mAh battery — a rare capacity for phones in India — making the P4 Power well suited to users who stream content, game, or travel without frequent access to chargers. However, Realme appears to have compromised on some areas to prioritize battery life; the camera system lacks standout, camera-centric dedicated features. Photos are reportedly good, but there’s no obvious “wow” factor in imaging.

Competitors to consider include the MOTOROLA Edge 60 Pro, vivo T4 Pro 5G, Nothing Phone (3), Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and IQOO Neo 10R 5G.

Should you buy it?

If you spend long hours on your phone watching videos, gaming, or travelling and want to avoid frequent charging, the Realme P4 Power 5G is a strong candidate. If camera capability is your top priority, this model may feel average, since it focuses more on battery endurance and display than on advanced imaging features. Overall, it’s a compelling pick for battery and display lovers, and a more moderate choice for photography-focused users.
