Vivo is set to launch its new V70 series in India on February 19. The lineup will include two smartphones, the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, aimed at the mid-range and premium mid-range segments.

Launch Date and Availability
The Chinese smartphone maker announced on Thursday that the Vivo V70 Series will launch in India on February 19 at 12 PM.
The series will consist of two models, the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. Vivo has confirmed that both smartphones will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Amazon, and the Vivo India online store.
Expected Price and Market Positioning
Vivo launched the Vivo V60 in India at a starting price of ₹36,999, but rising memory chip costs could push prices slightly higher for the new series.

The Vivo V70 Elite will feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for up to 5000 nits of peak brightness.
It will pack a large 6500mAh battery paired with 90W wired fast charging, offering a balance of long usage and quick charging.
Both models will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback. Additionally, IP68 and IP69 ratings will provide protection against dust and water.
Camera Setup and Design Highlights
The Vivo V70 Elite will come with a triple rear camera setup featuring ZEISS branding. This includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.
On the front, the phone will offer a 50MP ZEISS selfie camera with a reported 92-degree field of view.
In terms of colors, the Elite variant will be available in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black. The standard Vivo V70 is expected to launch in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow.
Processor and Performance Differences
The Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, known for high performance, with a reported AnTuTu score of over 1.8 million.
It will support LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth app performance and gaming.
The Vivo V70, on the other hand, will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, designed for balanced performance.
Both smartphones will come with an aluminum frame and a curved-edge design, giving them a premium look and feel.
