The Google Pixel 10a is set to arrive in global markets, including India. Pre-orders will open on 18 February, and the company has already begun taking pre-orders in India. The phone keeps a look and design very similar to last year’s Pixel 9a and is reported to be offered with up to 12GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of storage.
Price leak ahead of launch
Prices for the Pixel 10a surfaced on Italy’s e-commerce site Epto.it and a Norwegian retailer that listed the phone ahead of launch. The Italian listing shows a starting price of EUR 626.90 (approximately ₹68,000), while the 256GB model is listed at EUR 740.91 (approximately ₹80,000).
The Norwegian retailer’s listings suggest a starting price of NOK 7,466 (approximately ₹71,000) and a 256GB variant at NOK 8,798 (approximately ₹82,000). The leak also mentions three possible color options: Fog Grey, Obsidian, and Purple.
Design and color options
A Flipkart microsite shows the Pixel 10a in a blue colorway and highlights a flat metal frame with a pill-shaped camera module on the rear housing a dual rear camera setup.
The power and volume keys sit on the right edge. Other leaked renders suggest the phone could appear in blue, green, red, and black as well. The front is expected to use a punch-hole display for the selfie camera.
Features and specifications
The Pixel 10a is expected to feature a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support, with peak brightness reportedly reaching up to 2,000 nits.
Like the Pixel 10, the display may be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone will include a dedicated Titan M2 security chip, and Google’s store listing indicates a wide-angle rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization).
Connectivity will include dual-band 5G, e-SIM support, a USB Type-C charging port, and NFC. The phone will support both wired and wireless charging, and the listing states the battery is rated to endure 1,000 charging cycles.
Camera specs noted in the listing point to a 48MP main rear sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide rear lens, and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Launch date and availability in India
The Pixel 10a microsite is live on Flipkart, confirming that Flipkart will sell the phone in India alongside Google’s online store. Pre-orders are set to begin on 18 February. Google has indicated it will share full launch details, features, and official India pricing in the days leading up to the release.
