Motorola has launched the new Motorola Signature in India. It packs top-end parts like Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, up to 16GB RAM and a 1TB drive, plus a huge 5200mAh battery and a strong camera setup. If you like powerful hardware and long software support, this one asks you to take notice.
Motorola Signature Price and availability
The Signature starts at ₹59,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB model. The 16GB + 512GB version costs ₹64,999. The top model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at ₹69,999 — Motorola says this is the most affordable phone in India with 16GB + 1TB. A ₹5,000 discount is available with HDFC and Axis bank cards. There’s also an exchange bonus, but you can use only one of these benefits. Sales begin on January 30 on Flipkart and the phone comes in two colors. Buyers also get access to the Signature Club lifestyle support service.
Motorola Signature Display that aims to wow
The Signature has a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a very fast 165Hz refresh rate. Motorola uses an LPTO Extreme AMOLED panel with up to 6,200 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The display supports Dolby Vision, so videos and games should look vivid and sharp.
Motorola Signature Camera setup
Camera hardware is a big focus. The phone uses a Sony LYT-828 50MP main sensor. There’s also a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus that covers a 122° field of view. A third 50MP telephoto lens provides long-range shots and offers up to 100x zoom. The front camera is another 50MP Sony sensor. Overall, you get a trio of 50MP sensors and strong selfie hardware for detailed photos.
Motorola Signature Performance and sound
Under the hood is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The phone supports up to 16GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage up to 1TB. For media, Motorola adds Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and sound tuned by Bose, so both picture and sound are aimed at a premium experience.
Motorola Signature Battery and charging
A 5200mAh battery powers the phone. It supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The phone also supports reverse charging: 10W wireless reverse and 5W wired reverse charging. Motorola claims up to 41 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Software, connectivity and AI
The Signature runs Motorola’s Hello UI on Android 16. Motorola promises seven years of OS upgrades and seven years of security patches — a longer support window than many rivals. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB-C, and Bluetooth 6. Motorola also bundles Moto AI tools like AI Action Shot, AI Adaptive Stabilisation, and Group Shot to boost photography and usability.
