Samsung has launched the Galaxy F70e 5G in India today. This is the first phone in the new Galaxy F70 series and will be sold through e-commerce platforms and the company’s online retail store. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and packs a 6000mAh battery.

The Galaxy F70e 5G’s base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹12,999 — significantly lower than market estimates and expectations. The top model, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at ₹14,999. The phone will be available for purchase from 17 February at 12:00 PM.
Design
On the back, the phone features a leather-finish panel with a pill-shaped module housing the dual rear cameras. Up front there’s a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera.
The Galaxy F70e measures 167.4 × 77.4 × 8.2 mm and weighs around 199 g. The phone will be offered in two colours: Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue.
Display
The handset sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers 800 nits peak brightness, a pixel density of 260 PPI, and support for 16 million colours.
Cameras
For photography, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Alongside the main camera, there is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device includes an 8-megapixel front camera.
Processor and software
The Galaxy F70e 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. According to the company, the phone scores around 623,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
It supports up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. The phone is a dual-SIM device running One UI 8 based on Android 16, and the company says it will receive six years of OS and security updates.
Battery and charging
The Galaxy F70e includes a 6000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Samsung claims the battery will easily last through both day and night on a single charge.
Security and connectivity
Security is provided by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include dual SIM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
