Samsung has launched the new Galaxy F70e 5G in India. The handset features a leather-finish rear panel, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a large 6,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy F70e 5G starts at ₹12,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹14,499. The phone is offered in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue colours.
Both models are eligible for a ₹1,000 bank discount, which brings the launch price of the base variant down to ₹11,999.
Sales begin on 17 February, and the phone will be available on Flipkart and the Samsung online store.
Design and display
The phone has a slim profile with a thickness of 8.2mm and a leather-finish back panel with a side island design.
It carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and light splashes.
The Galaxy F70e 5G sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels.
Samsung rates the display for up to 800 nits peak brightness, a pixel density of 260 PPI, and support for 16 million colours.
Cameras

The Galaxy F70e 5G runs One UI 8 based on Android 16. Samsung is promising six years of OS upgrades and security updates. For hardware-level security, the device includes Samsung Knox Vault.

The handset is available with 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 1TB.
Battery and charging
The Galaxy F70e 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery, which Samsung says is 20 percent larger than the previous version.
The company aims to deliver a full day of battery life on a single charge. The phone supports 25W fast charging, but the box does not include a charger.
