Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price Leaked in India: ₹1.25 Lakh Flagship to Rival iPhone 17

Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price Leaked in India

Xiaomi’s new flagships, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, are reportedly headed to India. Prices for both phones leaked ahead of the launch, though the company has not yet shared any official details about local availability. The devices were introduced in China late last year, and the leak suggests their Indian pricing could fall into the same range as Apple’s iPhone 17.

Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price in India

Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav claimed on his X handle that the Xiaomi 17 could be priced around ₹80,000. For comparison, Apple launched the iPhone 17 in India with a starting price of ₹82,900, while the iPhone 17 Ultra sits near ₹1,25,000. Apple had launched the iPhone 17 Pro series with a starting price of ₹1,09,900.

Colours and launch expectations for India

The Xiaomi 17 is likely to come in black, blue, and green for international markets, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected in black, white, and green. These colour options are consistent with earlier reports about the series’ global lineup.

Expected RAM and storage configurations

Previous reports indicate the Xiaomi 17 may arrive internationally with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB built-in storage, available in black, blue, and green shades. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected in several configurations: 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB, offered in black, white, and green.

Key features of the Xiaomi 17 series

Both models are expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, targeting flagship-level performance. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is said to feature a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi 17, by contrast, is expected to use a more compact 6.3-inch OLED display.

The Ultra model reportedly has a Leica-branded triple camera array: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP telephoto lens. The regular Xiaomi 17 may use a 50MP + 50MP + 50MP camera setup that includes a Leica 60mm floating lens design.

Battery and charging are also different: the Ultra is said to pack a 6,800mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the Xiaomi 17 would include a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Should you wait for these phones?

If the Xiaomi 17 Ultra really lands near ₹1.25 lakh, buyers will reasonably expect top-tier performance across camera quality, software updates, and AI features — everything at a premium level. If the phones deliver on those fronts, waiting for them could make sense.

That said, other strong options are arriving soon: Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is due for launch in the near future, and Apple’s iPhone 18 series is also scheduled for release this year. These phones will likely carry higher prices but aim to lead in features and specs.
