Oppo has confirmed the India launch of its new K-series smartphone, the Oppo K14x 5G. The company’s official microsite is already live on Flipkart, revealing that the phone will debut in the Indian market on February 10. The Oppo K14x 5G is expected to arrive as the successor to the Oppo K13x, bringing several notable upgrades.
Key highlights include a large 6,500mAh battery, a 120Hz refresh rate display, and an improved camera setup. With its expected price under ₹15,000, the Oppo K14x 5G is shaping up to be a strong option in India’s competitive budget 5G smartphone segment.
Design and Build
Oppo has shared a teaser for the smartphone, giving a glimpse of its design. From the teaser, it appears that the phone will follow the same design language as the current K series models. It will come with flat sides, a flat back panel, and a rectangular camera module with rounded corners.
The phone will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. In addition, it will offer an IP64 rating, which provides protection against dust and water splashes, making it more durable for everyday use.
Display
The smartphone will sport a large 6.75-inch HD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate should deliver smoother scrolling and better visuals while gaming or watching videos.
The display is said to reach a peak brightness of 1,125 nits. This means users should be able to view the screen clearly even under bright sunlight, improving overall outdoor visibility.
Performance and Software
For performance, the Oppo K14x will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The device will run on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android and is designed to offer a smooth and updated user experience.
Oppo is also focusing on long-term software optimization. The phone will include 48 months of fluency protection, which aims to keep performance stable over time. With faster UFS read and write speeds, users can expect quicker app loading and improved overall responsiveness.
Camera Features
In the camera department, the Oppo K14x will feature a 50 MP rear camera. The company will also include several AI-based camera features to help enhance photo quality in different conditions.
Oppo has not yet shared detailed information about the front camera of the Oppo K14x 5G. However, since the device is being introduced as the successor to the Oppo K13x 5G, users can expect at least similar performance. The older model came with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Battery and Charging
The battery is being promoted as one of the biggest highlights of this phone. The Oppo K14x will pack a large 6,500mAh battery and will support 45W fast charging.
According to the company, a single full charge can deliver around 17.6 hours of YouTube video playback and more than 16 hours of Google Maps navigation. This suggests the phone is designed to last comfortably through a full day of heavy use.
OPPO K14x 5G Price in India (Expected)
At the moment, there is no official confirmation about the pricing of the OPPO K14x 5G. However, it is expected to start at under Rs 15,000 in India, placing it in the budget 5G segment.
After launch, the OPPO K14x 5G will be available for purchase on Flipkart. Its price is also expected to be higher than the OPPO K13x 5G, which was launched in June 2025 with a starting price of Rs 11,999.
