If you’re planning to buy a new smartphone, there’s good news. Tecno is set to expand its lineup in India with the Tecno Spark Go 3. The phone will debut in the Indian market tomorrow, i.e., 16 January. Its microsite is already live on Flipkart, where the company has revealed key features and the design. Tecno is teasing the device with the tagline “Desh Jaisa Dumdaar.” Here’s what you can expect from this new phone.
Tecno Spark Go 3 Launch Date and Availability
The Tecno Spark Go 3 will be launched in India on 16 January 2026 at 12 PM. After the launch, the smartphone will be available for sale on e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart. The handset will be offered in a Blue colour option.
Design and Build
In terms of design, the Tecno Spark Go 3 features a pill-shaped camera module on the back, which includes a single rear camera and an infrared sensor. There is a speaker grille at the top, and the phone comes with a flat metal frame. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right side, while Tecno branding appears at the lower centre of the back panel.
Tecno claims the smartphone can survive drops of up to 1.2 metres. It also carries an IP64 rating, which means it should offer protection against dust and water splashes.
Hardware and Software Details
Hardware and software specifications have already surfaced via different certification listings. Tecno Spark Go 3 is listed as a 4G smartphone with Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4GHz and 5GHz). It will run on Android 15 and pack a 5000mAh battery (4900mAh rated) along with 10W charging support.
As per the FCC listing, the phone may arrive in a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is also expected to feature a Spreadtrum UMS9230E chipset paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. Pricing and sale-related details may be shared closer to launch.
120Hz Display Features
Tecno Spark Go 3 comes with a 6.75-inch Dot Notch display, offering a strong viewing experience for this price segment. Thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, scrolling and app usage should feel noticeably smoother. The 720×1600 pixel resolution is good enough for daily tasks, social media browsing, and video playback.
With its large screen size, the phone should also offer a better experience for gaming and watching movies.
50MP AI Camera Features
Tecno Spark Go 3’s camera setup is designed keeping budget users in mind. It includes a 13MP AI rear camera with AI Imaging and Dual Flash support. The company claims it can deliver improved clarity in backlit and night scenes, while capturing details more accurately.
The FlashSnap feature uses a high-speed shutter and the BestMoment AI algorithm to capture the right moment instantly. Meanwhile, AutoSnap mode automatically clicks the best shot during movement. On the front, the phone gets an 8MP selfie camera, suitable for video calls and social media use.
Tecno Spark Go 3 Battery and Charging
The Tecno Spark Go 3 packs a 5000mAh long-lasting battery aimed at reliable daily performance. According to the company, the phone supports more than 11 hours of continuous video playback. It also offers 15W fast charging support, helping the battery charge faster.
Tecno adds that its AI charging system learns user habits and protects battery health, claiming that even after long-term usage, the phone can maintain over 80% battery health.
Connectivity and AI Features
Tecno is also promoting the Spark Go 3 as a strong performer in connectivity. The company claims the phone can help in communication up to 1.5 kilometres even when there is no network. It also offers dual-lane connectivity, which is said to improve internet speeds even in crowded areas.
Tecno states that due to hardware and software optimisation, the phone can deliver lag-free performance for up to four years. On the software side, it comes with the Ella AI voice assistant, supporting multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Bengali.
Expected Price in India
Tecno has not officially revealed the pricing yet. However, reports suggest the phone could be launched for under Rs 8,000. In this budget range, it may directly compete with affordable smartphones from Lava, Redmi, and itel.
