Vivo has officially confirmed the launch timeline for its upcoming Vivo V70 series in India. The new lineup, which includes the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70, is set to arrive in the third week of February. Along with the launch date, the company has also revealed that both smartphones will be sold through major e-commerce platforms as well as Vivo’s own online store.
Ahead of the launch, Vivo has begun teasing the design of the devices, giving a first look at their square-shaped rear camera module. Key chipset details have also been confirmed, with the Elite model set to feature Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the standard version will run on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 launch date
On Thursday, Vivo confirmed that the Vivo V70 series will be unveiled in India on February 19 at 12 PM. Under this series, the company will launch both the Vivo V70 Elite and the Vivo V70.
Vivo has also claimed that both devices will feature the slimmest bezels in the under ₹50,000 segment in India.
Key features of the Vivo V70 series
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo V70 series is its new Golden Grip form factor. Both smartphones will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a pixel density of 459ppi and support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also offer peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.
Unlike bulky and heavy smartphones, the Vivo V70 series will come with a flat-edge premium design. The company is using an aerospace-grade metal frame to deliver both durability and a premium feel. The display will feature ultra-narrow 1.25mm bezels, significantly improving the screen-to-body ratio.
Vivo has already confirmed that the Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the standard Vivo V70 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

The upcoming Vivo V70 series will pack a 6,500mAh battery. Both phones will support 90W wired fast charging.
The company has also claimed that the devices could offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Both phones in the Vivo V70 series will fall under the ₹50,000 price segment in India and will feature ultra-slim 1.25mm bezels.
The Vivo V70 will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colour options. Meanwhile, the Vivo V70 Elite will be offered in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black shades.
